At the Stronger Together Foundation, we unite passion and purpose to empower young athletes across the Caribbean and beyond.
Founded by two dedicated teenagers, both competitive gymnasts representing their nations, our mission is to break barriers by alleviating training costs and facilitating opportunities.
Through our foundation, we aim to foster inclusivity and equality, conducting camps, clinics and workshops to inspire and uplift underrepresented athletes, transcending borders and building a global community where strength knows no limits.
Who We Are
Welcome to the Stronger Together Foundation, a passion-driven initiative founded by two extraordinary athletes and North Stars Gymnastics teammates, representing the nations of Barbados and Jamaica on the international stage. Our story began as a shared journey, one that led us to a profound realization about the untapped potential within our respective countries.
Having experienced firsthand the challenges of pursuing excellence in gymnastics, we discovered a common thread that bound us together—both Barbados and Jamaica were home to incredibly talented young athletes who faced significant obstacles due to the lack of resources and support systems. This revelation fueled our determination to make a difference and lay the foundation for a brighter future for budding talents.
Our experiences also included moments of feeling like outsiders in the competitive world of gymnastics. These instances sparked a powerful idea – the belief that by uniting our efforts, we could create a stronger, more inclusive community for athletes worldwide. Thus, the Stronger Together Foundation was born.
At its core, our foundation is built on the philosophy that collaboration knows no borders. We believe that athletes from every corner of the globe, regardless of their background or circumstances, should have access to the opportunities and resources that can propel them to the pinnacle of their potential. By fostering a sense of unity and solidarity, we aim to break down barriers and empower athletes to dream big, regardless of where they come from.
